GAP IT Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
This policy explains how GAP IT handles personal information on gapit.ai while we're in pre-launch. It applies to visitors worldwide.
The short version
When you join the waitlist, we only collect your email address. We'll use it to send GAP IT launch news and occasional product updates. No spam, and we never sell your information. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
Like most websites, gapit.ai also receives basic technical data (such as your IP address). We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Details are below.
1. Who we are
GAP IT is operated by Gap It Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("GAP IT," "we," "us"). We are the "controller" of your personal information.

If you email us, we'll use what you send to reply. We don't ask for your name, phone number, payment details or any trading information. We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we don't profile you in ways that have legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We only use these service providers to run the site and the waitlist:
- Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider, stores the waitlist and sends our emails. (https://kit.com/privacy)
- Lovable hosts and delivers the website, using its own infrastructure providers.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (this policy would still apply).
4. Cookies
gapit.ai doesn't use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The site may store small settings in your browser that it needs to work, and our hosting provider sets a short-lived security cookie (about 30 minutes) to protect the site from bots and abuse, and a technical cookie (about 7 days) that keeps you on the same version of the site. Nothing else. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
5. Unsubscribing and withdrawing consent
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@gapit.ai. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly, and always within 10 business days. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
6. How long we keep it
- Email address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we keep just your email on a "do not email" list so we don't contact you again. If we decide not to launch GAP IT, we'll delete the waitlist.
- Technical and security logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
7. Security
We use reputable providers, HTTPS encryption, and limited access to the email list. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
8. Age requirement
GAP IT is a trading tool for adults. The waitlist is only for people 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you think a minor has signed up, email hello@gapit.ai and we'll delete it.
9. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- access your personal information or get a copy (portability),
- correct it,
- delete it,
- restrict or object to how we use it,
- withdraw your consent at any time (for example, to stop our emails).
Email hello@gapit.ai with the subject "Privacy Request". We may need to confirm the request comes from the owner of the email address. We'll respond within one month (or sooner if your local law requires). We won't treat you differently for using your rights. If we deny a request, you can reply to appeal.
EU/UK: You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the EU, that's the authority in your country (list: https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en). In the UK, it's the Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/). We'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.
US states: Residents of California and some other states may have similar rights under state law. We honor the rights above for everyone.
10. International transfers
We're based in the United States, and our providers mainly process data in the US. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred there. Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on our providers' safeguards for these transfers. For example, Kit is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (including the UK Extension) and also uses the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK equivalent).
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is material, for example if we start collecting more than your email, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
